Travel to Baguio City
Today will be a very exciting, exhausting and extraordinary day. We went to baguio city before morning, before the sun showed itself. Our guide said that the trip to Baguio City was so far away that we had to leave early that morning. And it is true that our journey is very far away, because even when the day is bright, we have not arrived at all. Finally some of my friends choose to sleep again.
A moments later, our car (Owned by TAU hahaha )
stopped at a fast food restaurant called Jollybee so we could have breakfast
before continuing our journey. After that about 4 hours or more, we finally got
to a place called Mines View. We were greeted by a very fresh air with a
temperature of 18⁰C, quite cold in my opinion when the time was showing before
noon. This place is very beautiful and it deserves to be a place for
refreshing. There I had time to rent traditional custom of Baguio only with the
price of P 20 or equivalent to Rp.
6,000, -. It is very cheap, isn’t it?
After the mines view, we continued our
journey to The Mansion And The Wright Park. The place was so crowded with
visitors and the air temperature was still the same with the previous place. The place is so beautiful
and very dear to miss.
After that, we searched for food at a restaurant
that sells halal food. The name is Jamil Kebab. I'm not afraid to eat any food
there, because the food there is guaranteed to be free from pork. Then,
we continue the journey again to a place whose name I forget again ( I am sorry). It was an
old place that was formerly a church. In this place we can see the houses that
are in Baguio from a distance.
And then, we continued our journey to go back to hostel and
rest. It was very exhausting but fun.
Teaching Assistant
On 29th of January 2018
This is the first day for me to become a
teacher assistant. so I become a teacher assistant accompanying my mentor in
ABM 12A class for two hours. First impression when I entered the class, the students are very
cheerful and intelligent. They are very fluent in english, so it makes me feel
inappropriate. But my mentor always motivates me and encourages me so I feel
courageous to mingle and joke with the student. I really like the students in
that class, they are so creative and so funny that they always make me
laugh.Well, the topic we discuss is market research. My mentor explained very
well and interestingly and in my heart said, "I can certainly do the same
thing even more". Our activities ended with the assignment to the
students. And after we leave the class, my mentor ask me to make lesson plan
for tomorrow's lesson.
On
30th January
This
is my second day to become teacher assistent. So I accompany my mentor in ABM
12 C class with the same topic as yesterday. students here are not as many
students in grade 12 A. In this class I found that the students do not all
speak English. but they are also very intelligent and polite.
On
31th January
Today
I accompany my mentor in ABM 12 A class. The students have to presentate their
assignment. Their assignment is about questionnaire of market research and for
the umpteenth time I am amazed by their intelligence. they are really very
funny and cheerful students. I am asked to criticize and advise each group that
appeared. my mentor really really appreciate all that I do. I feel very lucky
to have a mentor like him.
On the 3rd of february
we took travel to Alaminos City in the early morning. we were invited to a place called A Hundred Island. The weather is quite hot and indeed the place is amazing. Reminds me of a place with the same scenery in Indonesia.
There I bought many beautiful souvenirs made from sea shells and all of them are cheap. We took many beautiful and cool photos. we crossed and moved from one island to another using a boat that had been rented before. After tired of traveling around, we rushed over to the island
beforehand in the first place we came and went back to Tarlac.
