The Fourth Week

On 12th February

It is the third time for me teaching in ABM 12 A. Previously, my mentor asked me to make a quiz for the students. So when I enter the class, I immediately tell all the students that today I will give the quiz.  Previously the class was very noisy suddenly became very quiet because they heard the news that I gave. When I said that I was going to give the quiz that day, they were very surprised even they had time to delay to be given a quiz. After a few minutes we debated, finally they accepted. It was not too difficult to face them even though they're so smart. I like to talk with them.
well, after that I start showing their quiz questions, and give them time to solve the question.
During the quiz, I watched those who were working on the questions. They look calm and think very hard, but when I ask them "are the questions difficult?" They replied "no, ma'am!".
I really admire them, because none of them cheats. I told you before, that they were very intelligent ...

And after they finish the quiz, I still have 1 hour to teach, so I start to explain about the next topic that is Management Innovation until the time runs out.

On 13th February

It is the second time for me to teach in ABM 12 C class. So the students start their presentation in the same  way that I give to ABM 12 class A . They presentate their assignment, but I felt they were not ready to make a presentation that day because when I entered the class, from 4 groups only 2 groups completed their presentation. Finally I told those who have not completed their task to be completed soon.
Actually, I was not satisfied with their appearance because they do not explain at all but just read the book. There were even some students who when I asked about one example, they did not know. So after all of them presentate their assignment¸ I explained again about the part that they don’t understand. I have to explain again the material they should have known. But no problem, I am happy at least they have tried and done their best.

On 14th February,

That day, we were taught to dance a Filipino dance called 'Itik Itik'. I was very interested and like this moment because I really like to dance even though I was having a fever. We danced about 1 hour, then resumed after lunch. But unfortunately, after lunch I could not follow the practice of dancing because I had to see my mentor at CBM, so I just studied the dance through video.

After that, we prepare to attend the promenade party held at TAU Gymnasium. When I first arrived at the gymnasium, I was very surprised by their luxurious clothes and they were wearing masks. Very different with the clothes that we wear. Really, i was feeling that maybe it will be better if  I just go back to hostel. I was feeling not deserve to attend that party. Ha ha ha
At that time, I was incessantly admiring them because they were performing extraordinary dances.

On 15th February
At that time, morning at 07:00 am I had to see my mentor to take my evaluation form at CBM. After that when I returned to the hostel at 10:45 am, Ms. Michelle said that all my friends have gone to the Laboratory School for Cooking Demonstration. Finally, I followed them even though along the way I had to ask people about the location of the laboratory school. When I arrived, I saw two students who cooked Filipino dishes called 'Bangus Sisig', a food derived from a bangus fish.

After they cooked, now finally my turn and Rere to cook Indonesian food. Actually at that time I wanted to make 'green banana ice' but unfortunately, here we did not get the green color food and also no red syrup. Finally, because we did not have time we made 'Es Pallu Butung' Makassar's traditional food. Alhamdulillah it doesn't disappointed.

After that, now
Ami's turn and helped by my friends who will cook 'Pangek Ombilin' which is a traditional food from Padang. It's tasted very delicious for me, but Filipinos said that the food was very spicy. Hahahahaha

In the evening, we attended the Closing Program. I feel that why the 1-month time feels very short here. At the closing program, we're asked to dance 'Itik Itik', Filipino dance. For God's sake and for heaven and earth, I feel so ashamed because I have never danced in front of everyone and more embarrassingly, I don't memorize the choreography at all. It was a very embarrassing day of my life.
Hahahahaha.......

After we performed, our name was mentioned one by one to receive a certificate from TAU given by the University President. Our mentor is also given a certificate.

After that, we change our costume by using traditional costume from our respective tribes. At that time I was wearing 'baju bodo' which is a traditional costume from my tribe of  Makassar. I'm so happy that my mentor was there then and we can take pictures together.

And then we took some pictures with m friends and the others...........
